「We just loved our stay at Chalet Ficalho! The building, grounds and decor all radiated old-world charm. The walled property nestled in a neighborhood felt like a private sanctuary. The staff are attentive, professional and accommodating. Everything here is just so pleasant, from the delightful breakfast on the patio to the private outdoor pool. Private parking is a bonus!」

「We had a great time! We loved our space although I don’t recommend the Sailor’s Room for tall people. The sloped roof made it hard to shower and kept getting worried about hitting my head while wandering the room. The staff were excellent in terms of communication and the breakfast that was included was amazing!!!」

「The hotel cancelled my paid booking just hours before arrival. I had to make other hotel reservations at the last minute」

「Very friendly and helpful staff and the location is wonderful, steps from the beach. The room was cozy but you won’t spend much time in it anyhow. Lots of closet space! I had a lovely stay and would return.」

「Only there for a short stay before our flight. Room was nice, beds were comfy and the bathroom was beautiful. Window treatments are excellent for blocking light. I’d certainly stay there again.」
