Very charming hotel. Fun room at the reception floor with sitting areas, pool table, piano, books and games. There’s a small bar there open until midnight. Would be a great place for a group of people to stay. It’s about 6 Kas out of Sintra towards the beaches.

A Nice Experience

Had a difficult time to get hot water in the morning in spite of confirmation during the reservation. Eventually got hot water from Anna in cafeteria who also kindly provided all of tourist attraction parking tips.The room we stayed has a beautiful tranquilent garden with s spacious balcony.

Beautiful location in the mountains and great amenities for kids in the main room. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. The bedrooms were missing basic amenities (like electric kettle), which made it inconvenient. Location is also not convenient for Sinatra main attractions.

An enjoyable stay.

This hotel is clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The staff are friendly and helpful, most of them speak English. The bedroom was quite spacious, the bed comfortable and very clean, as was the shower room with plenty of hot water. The room did not have a fridge or a safe. Breakfast was a buffet. There was no hot food but plenty of choice of cold cuts, cheese, cereals, bread etc. It is quiet with nice views of Sintra and the surrounding villages.

Long story short, we were enjoying our honeymoon in Portugal and accidentally book this hotel for the wrong dates. I think it wasn’t more than 5 minutes when I asked for a date change it was the week before, and they denied. I decided to keep the reservation because in the end I paid for the service but I think they could’ve done better.

Lo más destacable el desayuno tipo buffet, con muchas opciones,y la atención de la persona que lo suele llevar. No se puede ir a pie al pueblo ( Colares) porque está en una carretera sin acera para peatones . Las playas están a pocos km en coche del alojamiento. Y se puede ir a Sintra ,Cascais ,Estoril o Lisboa en poco tiempo en coche. El hotel presenta signos de los años ( muchos) que tiene el edificio y hay poco personal para su mantenimiento y limpieza Nos quedamos sorprendidos que en la mini cafetería que hay no tuvieran ni una sola Cocacola ( o similar) para vender.. y el agua mineral además de cara no estaba fría y nos dieron un vaso con cubitos de hielo . Podrían mejorar también la calidad y el estado de las toallas .
