"We have stayed at this hotel annually for multiple years. The location is easy access from 84 and it is very quiet in spite of the close proximity to the highway and Danbury. It has attractive features including a pool, and an outdoor courtyard and garden area. The restaurant is convenient, attractive, and the food is very good. The bartender who served as our waiter was very personable and created a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The staff member that checked us in was also very helpful and welcoming, although the individual that checked us out was less friendly and seemed to be rushed and a bit bothered by their job. A particularly nice feature of the hotel was the quality of the beds. They were very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. We travel North at least once a year and whenever we are in the vicinity of this hotel, it will be a stopping point."

"A nice, affordable, quaint establishment near Beacon. The local restaurant was decent too. The rooms were spacious, clean, and functioning. The place looked so historical yet very little history to explore on the grounds - I would have liked more history! Otherwise, a great stay with great help."
