Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Danbury - I-84 by IHG

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Danbury - I-84 by IHG

8/10 Good
"We stayed in room 212. Our shower had hair in the tub. There was no fan in the bathroom so the mirror was all steamed even with the door open. The sign needs to be changed that says ice and vending by the elevator, there are no vending machines. The elevator was broken when we arrived so everyone was taking the stairs which was fine with us we were only on the 2nd floor. Should be noted in hotels.com that there is a $50 hold fee for the room we were not aware of. Otherwise the the breakfast was good, it was buffet style and many choices to choose from. The only thing that was disappointing is I was going to have a pancake and the machine wasn't warmed up for use."

"Very convenient location but our room location was much quieter on our first stay. Perhaps the hotel was more fully booked, but our first room was much more private."

Ethan Allen Hotel

Ethan Allen Hotel

8/10 Good
"It's a nice old hotel that could use a major make over. The price was reasonable around $150.00 staff was great although the front desk didn't help us with our receipt for incidentals which was strange. The bar is nice and the breakfast buffet was good enough for $14.00 person. All and all I would book again."

Mayflower Inn & Spa, Auberge Collection

Mayflower Inn & Spa, Auberge Collection

10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property with lovely pool and spa area. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The staff are all friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The grounds and gardens are well maintained. The hiking trail is highly recommended. My room in the main house was a bit noisy; the room above mine appeared to be a utility room that was active early in the morning. I could hear footsteps throughout the day. The dinner was overrated, but the breakfast and lunch were delicious."
