「Perfect size cottage for two people. It has everything we needed for our four day stay. The bed was very comfortable, and kitchenette with coffee maker was sufficient. Cindy is a wonderful host. 」

「Beautiful old house in a beautiful neighborhood very close to the lake and downtown. Louisa was our hostess. She was very friendly and helpful even ran to the Grey Gables restaurant next door to make our dinner reservation for us. We had the room off the living area so there was a little noise when the restaurant patrons left for the evening but it was very brief and no trouble at all. The huge King bed was perfectly pillow like for me, albeit a bit too soft for my husband, but no mattress will...

「We celebrated our daughter’s 3rd birthday here and chose it because it had a pool and year round outdoor hot tub. I usually shy away from boutique hotels but I was delighted that I took a change on Hotel Earl! It exceeded my expectations every step of the way! We travel all over and often and this was easily one of the top 10 hotel rooms I’ve stayed in! The room was huge and beautifully decorated with tons of character. I could see how the pool and hot tub could get crowded fast in peak season...

「Perfect location on Lake Charlevoix and walking distance to downtown. Our room was clean and comfortable but definitely outdated. The pictures we saw online when booked were of an upgraded unit, not the one we stayed in. Nevertheless, it did the job and we can handle some outdated wallpaper. We only wish they have chairs on the back patio, the lake view was amazing but we had no chairs. 」

「I typically don’t do reviews but I had to on this amazing property. This was an incredible stay!! Loved everything about the room, decor and amenities. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and being privately owned and not by a big corporation was even better. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. 」

The main floor common area is large with plenty of space for several units to share. The hosts go above and beyond by providing a little extra here and there.」
