「I had a great stay overall — the motel was clean, quiet, and well‑kept, with friendly staff and solid value for the price. The rooms were on the smaller side and the bed felt a bit cramped for two people; a different room layout might make the space feel more comfortable. Aside from that, everything worked well and the stay was genuinely pleasant. The outdoor BBQ and table were a great bonus and made the space feel welcoming. I’d happily return for a short visit.」

「Heavenly hospitality」

「My husband and I stayed here once before and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, that is why we returned. We brought our small Scotty dog and were treated so well. The room was beautifully appointed, breakfast was delicious as was the am coffee. We also enjoyed our complimentary wine and chocolates, thank you. We were met by the hostess who joined us for a tasting even though she was expected out for dinner as it was her birthday. The wine tasting and wines were also superb. I can’t say enough...

「I will return! Staff was professional and helpful! Parking felt very secure to me. The room was well stocked with towels and immaculate! I used the workout room on a rainy day - all equipment was working. This property, including the pool and hot tub are very well maintained. Even though this hotel is on the main road coming in, road noise was not a factor (actually didn’t hear a thing). Conveniently located for walking, cycling and golf. Can’t say a bad word about this place!」

「I had no actual contact with the staff as my friends were also staying and did the check in. Room was nice and clean and fluffy pillows. Loved the location, would enjoy a proper stay and swim in the lake across the street.」

「I recently stayed at the Empire Motel. The manager was there when I checked in after 10 PM. The room was clean and tidy. It wasn’t really fancy, but it was a room that has been remodelled, and modern, and had all the necessities. There was a desk, a refrigerator with a little freezer, there was a coffee maker. There was also a TV, but I never used it.They had shampoo and conditioner, and body wash in the shower and a hairdryer. The bedding was very comfortable and clean.」
