Room was great. The sheets were clean. They weren't put on with a whole lot of precision but we don't care about that. Also the jacuzzi was a little dirty. But again not enough to really worry about. Cute spot and very spacious rooms.

The office staff were very friendly and check in was a breeze. Unfortunately, the room cleanliness was subpar. It is an older hotel that could use some upgrades which wasn't a problem for us. However, basic attention to cleanliness was lacking. Baseboards had layers of dirt and grim (obviously not whiped down in some time), white towels had stains, and there was mold in the grout of the bathroom tiles. The manager would greatly benefit from making sure the cleaning staff are doing a through job. The bathroom especially felt very grimy. I would not repeate a stay here or recommend it to anyone that values a clean space to sleep and shower.

When I arrived the lake view room I had paid for was not cleaned so they “upgraded” me to a 1 bedroom with a kitchen in the middle of the complex. The 1 bedroom was terrible, I felt like I was in a dingy basement, definitely not an upgrade from the lake view room. Luckily I’m local and the manager was accommodating so I came back the next day for the room I was supposed to have. If I wasn’t local and able to do that it would have been very disappointing. In the future it would be better for them not to book a room that they know has a three night stay if they don’t have the staff to clean it before then. The lake view room is likely one of their nicer rooms but their photos on Expedia/website are a bit deceiving. The room was clean but not very well. The surfaces were pretty filthy. I ended up sweeping, cleaning the table and counters myself. Unfortunately I didn’t clean the side tables and got what I hope was honey all over one of my new books. The room definitely needs some updating, a SERIOUS deep clean, new towels that aren’t stained, and black out curtains. There were also spiders and carpet beetles in the room. On the plus side, it was pretty quiet as I didn’t have anyone beside or below me until the last night, the bed was clean. Unfortunately the last night the people who booked the room beside me came back drunk, loud, swearing and yelling at each other. Banging on the wall luckily got them to quiet down.

Everything looked good. Loved that our room was facing the lake. Great view. If I may add a suggestion or 3 I would suggest something other than a sponge in the kitchen as it makes it hard to wipe down the kitchen. And 2 tea towels would be great. And another frying pan Otherwise it was all good. Thank you for the nice stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. Every interaction was friendly, professional, and thoughtful, and it truly set the tone for the entire stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with attention to detail that didn’t go unnoticed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and everything felt calm, clean, and relaxing exactly what you want when you’re away from home. What really stood out was how much pride the staff clearly takes in this hotel. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and that level of care made a huge difference. This stay wasn’t just comfortable it was memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place that truly delivers on quality, comfort, and exceptional service.

The suites were advertised on Expedia as being newly renovated, with lovely photographs included. This room was far from renovated or clean. Check-in was provided by a sister hotel down the road as no staff were on sight during the holidays. The person who checked us in was personable, polite and very helpful with getting us sorted with an accidental double booking. Chipped and unmatched paint on walls, old rickety blinds that we kept closed all the time because they would not open, a heater that was so noisy we had to wear earplugs to sleep, a bathtub stained by dirty back feet, a control on shower so that we got lukewarm showers at best, kitchen was unclean…we washed the dishes ( some of them chipped) and wiped out cupboards before using. Also cleaned out the tray that coffee machine and supplies were stored on. Supplies (paper sugar, coffee mate pouches) were stained and old. Two thin bath towels and 1 washcloth and one very small bar of soap were provided for two adults on a 10 day stay.
