Stayed at four different hotels during our UK trip and this was the only one where our key card wouldn't let us in the building. We found that that out after being dropped off by a cab at one in the morning and not from the front desk at check-in. We were lucky our cab driver had not left the area immediately and i could chase him down to call the front desk for us. Sure, maybe we should have paid for international data from our phone company but, we managed everywhere else on wifi alone. Seems like an easy fix to have card entry to avoid this problem. Still very nice and clean hotel, would recommend

Our four night stay at the Tynecastle was fantastic! Upon arrival they greeted us with champagne and a Taylor Swift gift bag ( we were in town to attend the concert) ! Our room was lovely, spacious and had lots of new technology, that made our stay fun ! We really enjoyed that they played Taylor Swift music most of the time in the commons areas! Rooms were super quiet , beds very comfortable! The staff were all friendly and helpful! We especially enjoyed the skyline restaurant, reasonable prices and they stayed open late for the after concert crowds and had a special Taylor Swift themed menu!! Would highly recommend staying here, close walking proximity to Murray Field and also if your on a two week trip like we are we recommend Georgie’s launderette around the corner, they was and dried our clothes by the end of the day for 8 pounds!! Perfect

The hotel is attached to a stadium and is a nice surprise! No games made it a great deal! Staff was outstanding as was the room!

We stopped at the Tynecastle Park Hotel in June 2024. It is an excellent hotel; High quality accommodation. Well equipped rooms with comfortable beds and powerful shower. Delicious breakfasts, delicious evening meals with good choice of dishes. Above all the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is part of the Tynecastle stadium (Heart of Midlothian) and in itself has a fascinating history. It is located on a major bus route into Edinburgh Centre which means you can be in Princes Street in 10 minutes. This is one of the best hotels in Edinburgh and I would highly recommend it. I look forward to returning in the future.
