「What an absolute delight Kangaroo House was! Charles and Jill were the sweetest hosts one could hope for, the property was very accommodating of any special needs, and any issue was taken care of promptly. 「Rustic resort with beautiful sunsets and amenities. We did have someone lurking around our cabin one evening-claimed to be looking for someone who worked at the property. It was very suspicious. He left our place but hung around the resort for some time. I did not report it at the time as no one was at the front desk. 」

「My daughter and I were visiting Lopez Island from Alabama. This was a WONDERFUL place to stay and the host was very helpful with places to see and eat on the island. Fresh granola and ground coffee was waiting for us in the cottage and refilled daily. We rented bikes and biked around the island. Great girls trip!!」

「Wonderful room; perfect for us. A little bit of noise from the restaurant downstairs, but it didn't keep me from sleeping very well! Easy walk from the ferry and a fun island to visit.」

「This resort was a great place to stay...for many reasons. The room was updated, very comfortable and clean. The on-site restaurant was delicious for lunch and dinner. The view is spectacular. And there's a sheltered pool/hot tub. Almost best of all were the friendly, helpful staff. They were so kind to us, and helped ensure we got a spot on the outbound ferry. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.」

「This amazing bed & breakfast is in the countryside, but 5 minutes away from downtown Friday Harbor. The bed with 600 threads sheets was very comfortable, and with great views to the countryside. The breakfast was perfect and Claudia a great host, always smiling and eager to help with hiking ideas.」

「Friendly environment. My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary. The staff were friendly to greet us right upon arrival. We had originally booked the last room available in the inn, but in the end, they gave us an upgrade. The breakfast was fresh and locally made, including with eggs from the chickens on the property. The bread was made with locally-milled flour from neighboring Lopez Island. That's the most local I've had with bread. The property is also a short drive from the charming Roche...
