Affordable and easy to get to, but one of the exterior locks on building 7 didn’t work and the rooms have absolutely no sound insulation. If you don’t come with good earplugs you will hear every single little thing from the rooms on either side of you, across the hall and down the hall. Even with ear plugs the noise is loud. The bathroom is tiny and that goes for the toilet too. Very low to the ground and quite squat. This is a hotel you go to out of necessity. It’s hundreds of dollars less than other options which is its only saving grace. Do not book with any illusions of spending time in the room or going to bed early.

The place is exactly as advertised. Nothing fancy or flashy, bare bone rooms. But everything is clean and functional. A great place to crash with absolutely 0 frills. Staff is friendly and helpful, area is seems super safe and walkable from the harbour.

The room was so tiny the queen(?) bed barely fit and the room had not been updated since the 1970s. Wood panneling walls were scratched up and old, main door wouldn't close unless the deadbolt was turned, blinds didn't turn to close, dirty socks that housekeeping didn't find from previous guest in the drawer. Tv did not work and mandatory evacuation instructions not posted on the door incase of emergency, even though it was pretty straight forward how to exit the building..unless you are compromised. Stayed one night. Front desk not friendly. Say somewhere else for the extra $20-30 bucks. Most expensive dump I've ever stayed in. I'm just glad we didn't get bedbugs that i learned had happened from past reviews from other guests.

A very strange layout to rooms: 4 rooms to have two bathrooms with a sink in two and a separate toilet in each of the othrer two. Loud electrical humming from outside that came and went. Kept me up all night along with the humming refrigerator. No end tables or chairs, so you had to sit on the bed with your legs dangling, or sit on the toilet. The pillows were somehow too thick, unsupportive and lumpy at the same time. It was very near the San Juan Museum of Art, which is why we went, but a very long walk uphill from the ferry terminal. Little transportation. The entire facility was clean buy in very great disrepair. Therecwas a microwave, fridge, and an excellent flat-screen TV. For $250 a night, they should be able to repair or replace things, or, maybe, bulldoze and rebuild! Would not recomend!
