"The carpet wasn’t vacuumed in our room, large chunks of sand on it, we went to the “last kind words saloon” for dinner and all four of us received meals that were as cold as the plate they arrived on. If we visit Death Valley again we will stay in Pahrump and drive in each day."

"Really nice room, great decor and comfortable beds. The room was spacious, with a big bathroom. The area is stunning with snowy mountains and forest areas. Breakfast selection was ok. Was hoping to see bears, which staff says can sometimes be around, but none with our stay. Would definitely come back and stay here again"
