「 Alovely lovely place to stay and we Will stay again ,loved that the floors are wonky but what do do expect just full of character loved it . A heads up my partner is 6ft the shower was a little on the small size .. the room was slightly smaller than we expected . 「What a lovely gem of a place which was so welcoming and provided simply the best breakfast you could wish for. What with their own chicken eggs, sausages and fresh home baked bread, you can't go wrong! Janet is a lovely lady who likes to make you feel very welcome. I will be re visiting for sure」

「White Star is an excellent small hotel right in the middle of town with lots of options nearby. The rooms are small but extremely comfortable and clean. Free breakfast and amazing lunch and dinner options.」

「There are not enough superlatives to describe this hotel and its incredible grounds! The food was Excellent - better than the Michelin * restuarants I have been to recently in London and Venice. The grounds are spectacular - all 66 acres of them and its worth visiting just for this alone. The bedrooms are very nice and confortable. We had an Orangery suite which has Aircon. The Main house rooms do not. The staff were superb! Expecially compared to some other much more expensive hotels...

「Very comfortable stay. Lovely comfy bed. Very quiet hotel considering where it is. Very friendly and helpful gentleman at check-in which was 10pm. This is my second stay to visit family. Ticks all the boxes. Maybe one negative is that my room was serviced on request but the bed was left unmade ??」

「Plug in sink jammed, couldn’t have a wash. So hot, no air conditioning. Shower was great. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Next door was very noisy.」
