「The folks at Adventure Inn have thought of everything! Modern rooms with comfy beds. Very clean! We loved having charging stations on each end table!」

「I was adventuring solo for a few days and stayed in the 3-bed hostel room at the Avon. The room was small but the bed was comfy, the amenities were nice (i.e. towels and toiletries in the bathroom), and the staff was welcoming and helpful. It is a funky, cozy, old-timey spot in the mountains, with a covered porch with rocking chairs so you can sit outside and look at the mountains winding down after a day of hiking or having your morning coffee. It’s nice knowing that a hotel isn’t waiting at the desk charging you a crazy deposit and holding money like you’re going to trash the place. I loved the honest approach to check in and I felt safe and secure. Would stay here again. 」

「Not sure how many of the rooms are remodeled but the one we got was and was very nice. They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises. Hadn't stayed there before but would definitely recommend.」
