  • We had a great ride on the Durango & Silverton Railroad. Lots of snow melt and some whitewater rapids that were off the scale. Several avalanches have occurred near train lines this Spring. We stopped for a couple hours in Silverton for quick bite to eat and shop. Silverton, CO reminded us of our recent inner passage cruise that stopped in Skagway, Alaska.

I would definitely stay again!

The room was clean and charming. My unit had a Paris theme. The bathroom was clean upon arrival. A very charming little motel (emphasis on little). Drawbacks: - Staff were not EVER present at the front desk. The door remained locked and I had to call if I needed anything. Including check in. - Tight parking lot, even for my small car. - The fridge was not clean in the kitchen. Not a big deal since I didn't use it but still gross. That is it. Not bad but not great. Id give it a solid 6/10. I would recommend it over other motels in the area or if you are looking for a good deal, this is a good choice.

It's was pretty rundown. The toilet did not work . Had to flush it 5 times to get stuff to go down. The sewer backed up right outside our door under our car. The staff asked if we could move our car at 10pm so he could stop the overflow of sewage coming out flowing down the driveway. Don't like to complain about a place but it was not good. The bed was comfortable.

Family weekend getaway

Great comfortable stay in Durango

Great, clean and comfortable stay close to Main street. Wes was super friendly and checked me in quickly and recommended a excellent place for dinner. This will be my new go too for a night or two stay in Durango.

Charming Old Motel

Beginning with checkin when I met the pleasant owners, a father and son I was impressed . Their wives also help run it. It’s old and has not been remodeled to look new and that’s why I like it. It was clean with a comfortable bed. We will stay again

Great little Motel

Started out a little rough for personal reasons but with the attentive management we checked into a lovely renovated room. Absolutely adorable western themed. The motel was very quiet and appeared to have contracted workers staying there.. possibly from road construction. My daughter and I felt very safe staying there. Great find on our cross country road trip
