「We stayed here for our anniversary, its a very impressive building, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, large bed, great big soft pillows, air con nice and cold. Only issue was the water pressure of the shower, if you wanted anything other than a cold shower the water pressure dropped so you were basically hugging the wall to get under the water. We did let the staff know this upon checkout. We had drinks out on the terrace overlooking the golf course which was lovely...

「The website portrays a very well equipped hotel, with functioning dining room, serving afternoon teas, funeral teas, Sunday lunches. There was no food available at all, no evening meal or even breakfast! This place is not even a Bed and Breakfast status, as no breakfast available. This is definitely one place to avoid, especially for the price charged. There was alcohol available provided you wanted top shelf stuff or cider. Will definitely never set foot in this place again.」

「It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.」

I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. 「This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again, it was perfect for us! There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it.
