"We stayed here when our niece graduated from Tarleton. The room was bigger than expected and the bed was comfortable. Our hosts were lovely and’s I wish we could’ve stayed a little longer. I definitely recommend staying here and I will again if we are ever in the area."

"This was an excellent option for an overnight stop. No frills and a little run down, but the beds were comfy and AC cold! Suited our needs and fairly priced. "

The staff was friendly and allowed us to have a late checkout after a long day at our softball tournament. The breakfast was good, even though it was the minimum due to COVID. The only issue we had was our shower head was not sealed and would shoot water over the curtain. We were able to throw a wash cloth over it to keep it in the tub until they got it fixed. Great stay!

This is the cutest little place. The house is an older style home, but was very clean. The 4 room suite was adorable with a dining room, coffee bar, microwave and small fridge in the front room. The bathroom/shower was a separate room from the sink area. The bedroom was very spacious with a full size bed and armoire with a tv inside. The owners were so nice and accommodating.

The staff was outstanding, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and we had dinner one night and the steaks were excellent. I was able to extend checkout for an extra hour which was very helpful, as my granddaughter was able to ride the pony again. We participated in multiple activities such as Tomahawk and Archery; the attendants were helpful and provided positive feedback. The pool was chilly, but doable for children. Due to torrential thunderstorms in Central Texas, we arrived at the hotel in the early morning hours, and departed just a few hours later. The stay was excellent. The staff was courteous and personable, and facility was clean and quiet, and allowed us to get a few precious hours of much needed restful sleep.

The hotel looks a little sketchy from the outside but the room was very comfortable and clean. The price was very affordable and if I am in the area again, I will definitely stay here.

Although this is a older establishment, it has been lovingly remodeled and decorated. It is similar to what was once called a 'tourist court' back in the 40s & 50s. But that suits me just fine. It fills the bill for an overnight stay, as long as a person isn't overly picky. I've stayed in fancy places from LA to NYC and metro areas in between, but a little place like this has a nostalgic appeal that hard to beat.
