4/5 - Good
The Koffee Kup restaurant is great!

The Hico hotel is what you would expect for a $60 a night hotel. No bugs. Bed was comfortable. Hot water for a shower. Reasonably clean. The furniture was run down. The heat was ok. Overall the stay was ok.

Stayed 4 nights, cleaned once and didn’t leave extra toilet paper and the water is brown, literally brown. Stained the wash cloths and I put water in the ice bucket to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. Nope, brown water. Ice maker broken but maybe that was a good thing.

Ran the Spartan Race in Glen Rose. Hico is about 20 minutes away from the race venue. We stayed one night, and ran the next morning so not much time to visit in Hico.
Loved the Bull Lion Winery where I attended an event on Friday evening. The Koffee Kup was an easy walk for Breakfast on Saturday morning.
