「I didn’t know what to expect when staying at a hotel with a historic designation, but I was pleasantly surprised. The aesthetic and visuals of the hotel from when it was more relevant are preserved; it feels like it was made to be a time capsule of sorts for everything except for the important modern updates (plumbing, flat screen TVs in rooms, etc.). 「Perfect for our purpose. We were planning a weekend trip to the area, but not planning to be in the room much. We wanted to save our budget for other things, but still wanted to be comfortable.
