「The hotel is in great condition The staff were outstanding and accommodating We loved the location in the valley and did a wine tasting close by which was excellent 」

「Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. 」

「We were heading out very early one morning for a tour and because breakfast was not served until 8:30 we would have missed it. They left everything in the fridge se we could help ourselves to breakfast very early. Very much appreciated. Susanna was wonderful and made us a fire and was very welcoming.」
