Excellent hotel, first impression very good the reception team, due to our Platanium membership upgraded the room. They also helped in staying an extra night and keeping same room and arranging a wine tasting and lunch at the hotels winery 10 minutes away. Bar and restaurant serve great food and drinks and you can look over the Duoro river from both, and also eat and drink on the terrace. Rooms comfy and spacious - fabulous hotel to explore the Duoro - Pinhao is just 25 mins drive away. We had a great time here

We loved this hotel, close to all the amazing vineyards, including its own which you must suit. Just in the other side of the bridge to the city which has many amazing restaurants.

Excellent stay at the hotel, a great place if you're looking for peace, quiet and relaxation. We enjoyed a lovely week in a very spatious and comfortable room, within a few steps of the pools and spa. Sunny mornings and warm evenings of august, enjoying breakfasts and dinners with a great view, our kids loved it and so did we :)

The hotel is very walkable to Regua which made eating at the local restaurants and participating in wine tours easy. The hotel has incredible views. There was limited warm water and our first floor rooms had a faint odour. The bed mattresses could be better.

The property on first glance had a cool contemporary vibe. But the food was very limited, the room accommodations were poorly was set up. They did not have any amenities and breakfast was just average.

Careful booking required

As two guys visiting sharing a room we had requested a twin room but when arrived we were booked into a king size double. This was unacceptable and we were given a room with bed sofa and double bed instead. Also glass door on the toilet was not acceptable. Careful request is required if a twin room is booked. They consider this to be a king size double.
