「Very disappointing experience. The front desk staff had a terrible attitude from the moment I arrived and acted like helping guests was an inconvenience. The room smelled bad and did not feel clean or welcoming at all. Overall, the customer service was poor and the atmosphere was uncomfortable because the lady at the front desk seemed upset and rude the entire time. I would not stay here again.」

「Loved the convenience to Salado’s Main Street and yet since the property was not in the town it was very quiet, serene and relaxing. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the porch and watching the clouds and the birds. The rooms in the main house are super clean and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and owners are delightful. Will definitely visit there again. 」

「I reserved a non-smoking room, but upon checking in I was immediately met with a strong cigarette smoke odor. The room clearly smelled as though it had been heavily smoked in. I returned to the front desk and requested another room, but the clerk informed me that no other non-smoking rooms were available.
