The alcoves are deliciously cool even on hot days because they have high ceilings opened to the north winds. I think this particular alcove (aivan) was one for one of the important ladies of the harem.

"This is a huge hotel. Given that we travelled during off peak season, we practically had the e tire hotel to ourselves. The staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was served daily - this is no buffet service. They had breakfast for us and it was a personalized service. The Front Desk Manager was super helpful in directing and guiding us during our stay. Excellent service and good location of property. About 4 minutes drive to main attraction Inchi Kala 👍"

"A quiet hotel just outside of the old town. Two brothers run the business. They renovated the old medresa during covid-time. Both speak English. The hotel is perfectly situated for the visit of Chiwa. It is quiet and peaceful. From the minarete of the hotel you have a wonderful view over Chiwa. "
