The Arkanchi Hotel is perfectly located inside Ichan Kala, just steps from Khiva’s main sights. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, and the rooftop terrace offers beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Staff are friendly and very helpful, making the stay feel personal and welcoming. Breakfast is good, though a bit simple, but the overall experience is fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay inside the old city.

Great Stay, Location and Staff

The hotel is in an ideal location, all the staff were super friendly and wanted to help you at every opportunity they could. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The breakfast was lovely, you are a minute walk away from most of the best sights in Khiva. Highly recommend

Polite staff on reception who can speak English. Lovely large room with two single beds. Modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Taxis can park right outside. Superb location.

Nice terrace and good location

The hotel is clean, the location is excellent, and the staff is very accommodating. They allowed us to check in early and check out late. The only downside was the pillows, which were very hard.

I would gladly return to this hotel

The hotel is located in the best area of ​​the old town, very kind staff, spacious and clean room, good breakfast. The roof terrace is beautiful, with a small bar open in the evening. We went up to the tragedia and it was beautiful. It could be used better, because it really has great potential. Khiva is a jewel and will remain in our hearts forever! Highly recommended as a tree. This place was immaculate. You could literally off to eat off the floor. The staff was friendly. They went over and beyond to help you. The restaurants are all around you so where the sites are very walkable easy to get to service was great. The rooms are really nicely done Water pressure. Excellent beds were comfortable. Air-conditioning worked fabulous all around. I highly recommend this place if you come to Uzbekistan!!!

The hotel is right next to the mesmerizing Kalta Minor Minaret with its blue and green ancient coloring that you can’t take your eyes off. You can even see it well from the hotel’s rooftop. The hot breakfast had nice variety of local dishes to choose from such as pumpkin oven baked samsa, fresh and dried fruits, fresh vegetables.The wi-fi was also good, although at times they had to restart it to keep up with the number of guests using it. Hot water in the shower. Air conditioned room. Also, I liked that it was quiet.

Excellent service, lovely room, great location

The location is excellent. Hotel looks grand and is openly visible from the main Ichan Kala. The staff at this hotel were pleasant and extremely helpful. They speak excellent english. On the night of our arrival, our Yandex driver was lost and we couldn't find the hotel as we were unfamiliar with the location. We called the hotel for help and a staff very kindly came to look for our car, and even took over the wheels of our driver who was visibly very tired from the long drive. He helped to drive us to the door step of the hotel safely, and even offered the driver a seat to rest in the hotel as it was very late at night. We didn't get the name of that staff, but hope that the hotel could relay our compliment and gratitude so that he can see our message to him. We are extremely grateful for his help, and we find his kindness very heartwarming. He definitely left a mark of great impression in our hearts and we will never forget that night. We are also very happy with our room, which was clean and very comfortable. The room definitely looks better than the photos I took. The breakfast provided was one of the best we have had out of staying at 6 hotels in Uzbekistan and as bonus it comes with great variety of vegetarian options. We had a wonderful time in Khiva and the hotel and the staff made our trip even more pleasant.
