「I travel to So. Illinois annually to visit but this is my first stay at the Makanda Inn. It will not be my last. I had a very peaceful stay- after long days of family visit and running around with the grands, it was so nice to stay here where it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast every morning was top notch and just the right portions.」

「Quite woodland retreat. A wonderful cabin with two beds and a sitting area with TV and eating area. Great size room, not far from the main building where you order your dinner to go and eat it in your cabin due to COVID Friendly staff Bring your shampoo and conditioner 」

「checked out but forgot something, ran back to the room to get it and they were already cleaning it. Instead of changing the sheets they were making the beds with the sheets we just slept on. the shocked look on the employees face was priceless. Who knows how many times the sheets are used before or if they even wash them. we will never use Super 8 again.」

「Breakfast wad included and had several choices. Mo phone in room or information about the property such as pool, fitness center, hours for breakfast.」
