「The historic property is beautiful in general. We booked a last minute room and the backdoors that are next to the parking lot are locked. The number listed to call staff doesn’t work. We had to bang on the locked side door to get into the hotel! Once we got in the gentleman running the desk alone, was not very welcoming or kind. In fact, he seemed bothered to have to unlock the door. We told him the number on the back door. didn’t work, he did not seem to care. This was a last minute...

「Our room smelled of smoke and damp. The floor tile was loose and made noise when walked on. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. And the silicone around the toilet was very poorly done and quite dirty with urine stains. The lift had loose flooring. Overall this particular hotel is in need of major upgrades and repairs.」
