Rooms are moldy and smell stuffy with a dirty seat, the beddings are not very clean and the mosquito nets have blood stains (from squishing the mosquitoes) bathrooms are rusty. "We stayed from September 2 thru September 9. It was wonderful the whole time. The restaurant staff was the best. They were always pleasant and helpful. It was kept extremely clean and the food was fantastic. We would recommend this hotel for anyone planning a trip to Nairobi. The rooms were cleaned every day wth plenty of bottled water in the rooms. Whenever any of the staff saw you they made sure everything was ok with you. The pool was beautiful. My only negative was smoking at the pool."

"The PERFECT place to land after a long stretch of travel. The hotel is very safe and secure, the room was exactly as pictured, and the hotel restaurant (and patio) were lovely. I felt very welcomed and taken care of. Will definitely be making this my "must stay" when landing in Nairobi."

"We only stayed for one night, but overall our experience was positive. The airport shuttle service was excellent. The organisation was very professional, it was easy to locate staff at the airport, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. There were, however, a few issues with our room. It did not appear to be cleaned to the expected standard, as we found several hairs on the bedside tables and on the floor. In addition, when I requested clean towels in the morning, I was asked to bring the dirty towels to the member of staff who was cleaning. I did not feel this was an appropriate guest experience and was disappointed by the interaction. On a positive note, breakfast was good, and plenty to choose from and the staff in the breakfast area were proactive, helpful, and attentive."

"Breakfast was amazing with great variety, delicious with fresh & healthy choices. The hotel grounds are well maintained. Security is very good, direct access to a private beach. The seafront walk after meals is simply breathtaking. The service by the entire staff team was exceptional, their thoughtfulness beat our imagination, trustworthy team. If time had allowed us we would have extended our stay, however the good thing is that we intend to return to Mombasa and stay at the same hotel. Of special mention is Eric - head of security, Emily and Maria at reception, Charles & Francis maintenance staff, who all added to the wonderful experience. Unable to mention everyone aside being grateful to every staff who attended to us. Please keep the excellent service up."
