"This hotel located on the remote area and you need to drive here. If the hotel is good, it's worth for it. However, there are few points you need to consider if you want to book this hotel. (1) No bottled water provide (2) Poor customer service and poor English, you cannot communciate with them if you dont know Japanses. "Great new hotel in Takayama, very walkable from the Takayama train station. The rooms were very clean and the staff were among the friendliest to english speaking guests we have ever encountered in Japan. The publc bath has seperate traditional areas and a clothed mixed area, again very clean and amazing view from the top floor. Other reviews mention the sensor light being an issue in the room but it only goes off if you are standing at the front door to exit the room, was never able to set it off going to the restroom."
