"We arrived very late to our hotel. It’s not close enough to walk to from the eiffel tower. However you can see the tower from our room. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast staff was very nice too. The room was unique. It had a very nice balcony. You must have your own shampoo and conditioner. It was confortable for 1 night. PROS: price for location and balcony view CONS: not super clean, nor super dirty. "

"The stay was very nice, the location was great to get to central Paris and the surrounding area. The nearest Metro station is a longer walk then it appeared so keep that in mind. Also the air conditioning in the room was not great, especially with the severe heatwave at the time. "

"Had two nights at Hotel Vaugirard in June 2025 for the tennis, good location right next to a tram stop so only 30 minutes via tram and metro to Gare du Nord for Eurostar, etc, and at 4.50 Euros much cheaper and quicker than a taxi. Very clean, comfortable hotel and was quiet during the night so perfect for my trip. Double room was plenty big enough and air conditioning very helpful. Staff very friendly and helpful and all that I dealt with spoke very good English. Only negative was the shower gel dispenser was empty but that was quickly rectified. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants close by. I definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again. "

"A bit out of the way, but close enough to the RER and metro. Directly above the highway, but the rooms have excellent sound proofing. Loads of grocery & small vendors + restaurants on the other side of the highway (10 min walk for an average person). Otherwise, your typical budget hotel in Europe. Staff were friendly and usually at the desk. Would definitely stay there again."
