"Property was very nice, with clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast options. Close proximity to the airport as well. Overall a very good hotel"

"The whole room was unique. I stayed right after it opened almost 20 years ago and everything was I remembered and looked in the same condition. The welcome drink, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the name on the door, they all made the experience special. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and the atmosphere very relaxing."

"Nice new hotel, super breakfast ,very recommended"

"Excelent stay, beautiful and calm environment"

"Solid, well-located hotel that did exactly what we needed. We used it as a base for four nights while doing trips out of the GAM, and the location next to Real Cariari made everything easy, including a 2am tour pickup and quick access to the airport. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were helpful at every hour, and check in and check out were straightforward. Good value if you want something practical and well connected rather than a resort. Would stay again."

"Enjoyed my stay. A great destination if you are waiting for fly out of San Jose."

"Hot water doesnt work. But the personal very nice and friendly. Park is 200 meters from the hotel. No flat screen as described instead have an old box grandma tv."

"I loved the family who own and run Los Gallitos. They are so genuinely friendly -- it made our stay. We tried to stay two nights, and wish we had. The pool was lovely, and the location is perfect for exploring the area around the waterfalls in the mountains. "

"Great hotel. Lovely staff, private and quiet. "
