「My family did not get to attend our trip due to flight issues, not the fault of the resort. However, I have spent a week trying to get a hold of them between Expedia support and calling directly to get a refund. They simply refuse to address the issue and have been holding thousands of dollars hostage despite acknowledging we never checked in nor were we there. 「The Buccaneer is an old cattle ranch / sugar plantation converted into a beach/ golf resort. A beautiful setting. I prepaid for a room over a three day stay. At check-in, "Ben" said incidental room charges were $75 per day which would have been $225 on my debit card. I checked my account an hour later. My debit card was charged $2,000 for incidental room/ resort charges! What a shock! The room my wife and I stayed in had no hot water two days in a row ( cold showers ). Only on the third day...

「The property is close to town and has a great view. However, it is in desperate need of a complete remodel. We stayed in an oceanfront king. The bed is actually a queen The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. The cable went out and never came back on, the light on the balcony didn't work, the coffee machine was clogged and blew hot coffee throughout the room, and the hair dryer actually blew up...

「I would stay here again. We were here 9 years ago and loved it! It was just as good this time. Views are wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded, bartender Connor was excellent and food truck was delicious!! We fell in love with the cats around our cabin. All in all, this place will always be our place to stay!! 」

「The apartment truly does sit in the heart of Christiansted - a perfect location for popping out to a local dinner, browsing local shops, heading out for an excursion, or ducking downstairs to the juice bar. The space was well maintained very clean, and provided everything we need. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment for a trip to Christiansted.」
