The food was very customizable — just communicate your dietary needs and they will accommodate. Breakfast was amazing. The resort's location, while a bit isolated, is absolutely beautiful and worth the occasional inconvenience. That said, maintenance and cleaning of the rooms and the resort in general could be better. In addition, service can be slow, but that is typical of the VI. Room and view were good. Only a very few of staff were pleasant, rest were moody and uncaring of their job. A shout out to Elsa and Dominique for their service. the entire stay was disappointing. Only 3 umbrellas at the pool and maybe 5 at the beach. Not enough lounge chairs at the beach maybe 15 and not many more at pool. this is poor considering the amount of people staying. You would have to wait and lunge for a chair as people got up to leave. Waited over 30 minutes to receive our drink order at bar asked waitress and said that they will get around to it..We left..... similar attitudes throughout resort. Front desk staff was miserable, didn't acknowledge you when approached and they rolled their eyes and looked at you as though you were an inconvenience. Outstanding service was received by Elsa, front desk when checking out, Dominique, waitstaff at breakfast, Dave, shuttle driver. Would not return and would advise others the same.

The room had some bugs but that’s expected because it is a tropical place. Room was nice the bar staff was pretty slow but friendly. The view from the hotel is UNMATCHED. Such a beautiful beach you can dive or snorkel at. The tide pool hike is extremely close by. The lobby staff were rude. The house cleaning forgot our room twice so we had no fresh towels. We paid for a beach view and it was our honeymoon and we barely had a beach view when there were so many people who got beach view after our check in that was on the beach which is what we requested and paid for. Overall st croix is amazing rent a car this hotel was reasonably priced and the beach was amazing.
