「We were really disappointed. We chose this hotel due to it's closeness to Salem, MA. The building smells of cigarettes and marijuana despite the staff saying that it is a non smoking facility. The beds were uncomfortable. For some reason one of our beds had a plastic sheet mattress cover (the ones used for children that wet the beds). Sheets smelled of bleach. Walls had old fun-tak on them. AC/heat unit did not work. Bathroom had mold in the tiles on the floor. Safety on door was previously...

「I cannot say enough about this beautiful, boutique hotel! The staff was amazing and very communicative. As we were traveling from Martha's Vineyard with a stop in Boston, they ensured that they stayed in touch with me as I had to guesstimate my time of arrival. They texted and said my room was ready and that I could check in early. I appreciated this so much. The fresh baked chocolate chip cookies!! What a treat every night! The common area and all the amenities went above and beyond what I was...

「It’s an old hotel, so don’t expect modern day upgrades in the rooms. The hotel IS great. Our room was good. A few things wrong with room but no bad, sort of. Our a/c unit didn’t work, so we had to leave the window open our entire 4 day stay. Not bad. There IS, also, a big window in the shower, which is facing the street. Talk about putting a show for all those outside. Our room had a great view, and so did the outside looking in. It’s even worse when showering, or using bathroom at night. Beware...
