「Good」

「For the price is the room ($175-200), I expected a much more updated, maintained building. The tile was coming off the bathroom floor, there was mold on the bathroom sink. The elevator literally jolted every time the door opened/closed and when it was going down. On a positive note, very friendly staff, great parking and a wonderful hot breakfast.」

「Hotel is conveniently located and is still quiet. The hotel is well equipped. We did not have as many towels as would normally be in the room, but did not ask for extras as we were only there one night. The room was clean, but I have seen cleaner rooms.... you know..as clean as your house when you have guests, but not "professionally" spotless. Again, we didn't complain and we would gladly stay here again. 」

「The shower had no water pressure. Asked to have room cleaned and it wasn’t on the first day there. Towels that we were given one was dirty with something brownish looking and another had a pubic hair on it. If I’m paying to stay in a hotel, with the prices the way they are, I believe that the room should be cleaned daily and fresh towels daily. Nice hotel, but needs to be maintained better. Little run down.」

「The first room given to me the floor around the sink had standing water covering the floor. After front dear came and saw the floor she didn’t really know what to do. I told her I wanted a new room. I was given a new room, and it was ok. The bed was comfortable, the faucet was not bolted to the sink and you had to hold it in be able to turn it on. Also the knob on the tub faucet was missing the screw holding it on. Overall if they fixed some of the issues (update plumbing fixtures), and...

「The hotel is very well maintained with a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. You can see Bryant Denny from there as well as downtown Tuscaloosa. Location was great for downtown Tuscaloosa, you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming and nice. Answered our questions with a lot of info. Has valet parking but we didn't need it for a June visit. Short drive to UofA campus, but probably not walkable.」

「Everyone was kind and helpful. Rooms were very clean, a/c worked wonderfully thank goodness considering the outdoor heat.lol. Didn't eat breakfast but greatly appreciated the all day coffee. The only thing that I'd recommend is a list of local restaurants and tourist attractions be put in the rooms for visitors who don't really have a plan to go by.」

「Great hotel. We stayed for U of A orientation. Breakfast was the typical spread (waffles, eggs, oatmeal). Everything was clean and staff was very friendly.」
