「Loved: The owner, Sue, is amazing! She was above and beyond the sweetest, most attentive host! I appreciated her attention to detail and making sure my stay was as wonderful as possible. The room was super nice! Loved the bed, wonderfully warm and comfy. The view of Loch Earn was beyond words, so beautiful! Very nice size bathroom with big bathtub and shower. TV, mini-fridge, kettle, and Keurig amenities in the room. Kitchen and bar service very good. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Pet-friendly....

「Very clean and well presented. Excellent facilities. Whilst I give the Rural Retreat 5*'s I'd give myself less as I missed that the room was not ensuite and that breakfast (which was very good btw) was not included. I will look more closely next time. Whilst St Finans is close to interesting places, there is not much in the village itself. Wifi was not great, but that is a problem for the area rather than for any specific property.」
