We didn't have time this visit to take advantage of the workout room, but it's a nice size and good variety. We were able to take advantage of their lovely continental breakfast - perfect coffee, and wonderful pastries. The Carpentry is truly a gem!!!」

「This is a hotel for river rafters and people with dogs. The staff is super kind and helpful, but the room was gross. There was a dirty sock from a previous visitor upon check in. Super convenient access to Cherokee National Forest, but do not expect a super clean room.」

「I traveled constantly for many years and have stayed at hundreds of different properties, and at this price point, The Mallard Hotel is among the nicest I’ve stayed in. Clean, comfy, modern and a nice covered seating area outside with beautiful views. Highly recommend!」

「Easy check in, rooms were clean, breakfast was ok but can’t complain about free food. Parking was easy and spacious. Staff was above and beyond. The manager I’m assuming at the front always asked how our rooms were and if we were comfortable. Our first day there our battery to the fire alarm died. I messaged them and they were there really fast to get that changed out. Would go back if we ever go to Georgia again!」

「The only issue was ice machines on floors Only main floor worked But that one also had purified water. Which was nice. I travel with my small dog and there were lots of dog people which was nice.」

「What a wonderful welcome we had. We got in late, with our kids, and had just intended to sleep on our way to Orlando. Mom and dad needed to unwind but the bar was closed. The gentleman who checked us in recommended some wines, that are available through the hotel and grabbed us some wine glasses. We are so grateful for his extra care, even when we were there for just a short stay.」

「I was a little put off when checking in and there was a $100 incidental fee. I did not see anything mentioned when booking on Expedia so I was not expecting it. Once I got into the room there was a small stain on the bed sheet on one of the beds and 2 drawers would not close all the way and stuck out a little. I think for the price it’s okay.」

「Really clean and comfortable room, very close to downtown and we could walk to shops, coffee, dinner etc. We also loved the rooftop bar for an after dinner drink!」
