「High March is absolutely outstanding! The location is breathtaking, the room is beautifully designed with incredible attention to every detail, the host is warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.」

「The owner Duncan is a lovely host, made us very welcome and cooked us a great meal the night we stayed. Nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was ok but needs upgrading. The bath had a shower head but no screen so we couldn’t have a proper shower. There was also a large collection of hair on the bathroom floor. The hotel itself is charming with lots of personal touches and you could spend hours just looking round. We really did enjoy our stay but think it only fair share our...

「Service is good, breakfast is excellent. Wifi is slow and disconnect every 5 mins. Due the night time between 1700-2130. It is because, they share with the pub and restaurant guest wifi. When you showers the water sometimes hot and cold. The room is nice.Easy to park.」

「Great location, but busy with all of the cruise tours.」

「Everything was good! Unfortunately, the security guard has a loophole, and there is no staff! Everyone can enter and exit!」

「The room was cosy and comfortable, and the made-to-order breakfast was excellent. There was also plenty of parking, which was very convenient. Our only suggestion for the owner would be to send the check-in information, including instructions for accessing the room, a day in advance via Expedia message or email. As international travellers, we had very limited mobile data signal when we arrived and had a little difficulty getting in touch with the owner for check-in. Once we were checked in,...

「Absolutely would recommend this place. Check in information was great and very easy. We were travelling by bike and they let us access the secure bike storage early so we could enjoy the town without worrying about them. The room was spacious and spotless and the shower was brilliant. Hamish from housekeeping was very friendly and kind to our daughter as we were leaving. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was very nice too. Great view of the canal locks and close to all the amenities of Fort...

「It is quite a small room with one single bed and a bunk bed. The lower bunk bed is too narrow and the height between the two decks is too short. I cannot sit up on it. I have to crawl into the bed and slip out of it every time. So you can imagine the feeling when you sleep on the lower bunk bed and the upper bed is so close to your face. It is really the hostel facilities but the rate is close to a hotel or even more expensive than many of them. 」

「Clean room, quiet location, delicious breakfast. Lovely bar. Beautiful views. I would recommend.」
