「i stayed here with my cousin to see the poppies on the pier and the fireworks.The room was really good clean and quiet being away from the noisy part of Southend but still on seafront and just 20mins walk was good for us.The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful we spent the eve in the bar and we will def stay there again.A really lovely great little hotel.」

「This hotel is part of the Best Western Sure Collection. I have stayed here several times before and not been disappointed. I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. There were welcome gifts on hand and the whole room...

「Stayed at the Ivy Hill Hotel for a couple of nights visiting family for Christmas. An excellent hotel for a quiet break but within easy reach of London. Staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. Would definitely book again.」
