「Great place to stay. The hotel has such an interesting history. It has an historic look and feel, but not run down at all. There's even a fun little "museum" in the basement level. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location too. It's surrounded by shops and places to eat. 」

「A lovely stay at Paddlers Lane Retreat. Room was cozy and had everything I needed. Close enough to food options but off the path so it was very quiet and serene. Dan was a pleasure to chat with and very helpful with recommendations. If I pass through again, I'll definitely stay here. 」

「Very nicely appointed rooms, spacious common areas, very clean bathrooms, copious breakfast, friendly staff. We were able to use the refrigerator and even got to use an ice pack for our aching legs. A wonderful place to recharge after a day of cycling! The owner gave us a great restaurant recommendation. Overall there was a very friendly vibe and we enjoyed chatting with other guests while relaxing on the porch.」

「This property was exceptionally good. Old, but very clean. Spacious room with seating area. King size bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. No coffee in the rooms but they had it in the office. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. No amenities but we were just passing through. Owners were very nice. Definitely recommend and will stay again. 」

「We had a great stay here. Just a couple of issues. We used the online link to pre-register, I even submitted a snapshot of my drivers license. All of this was to speed up the check-in process. When we arrived at the front desk, they had no record of our pre-registration and we had to go all through the process again. Another issue was that we thought the window air conditioner was broken. 「This was convenient to the surrounding area. The breakfast was nice. The thing I didn't like was I had to hold the shower door closed to keep the floor from getting wet. I looked like the bedside tables hadn't been cleaned since the last guest. There were still rings from beverages on them.」

「Very good option for a budget motel. Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Like all at this very low price point, there's some wear and tear, but they try very hard and do many small things better than expensive hotels. Breakfast is minimal, but adequate and better than some other extremely low-cost places. Wi-fi not so good, but you can't expect everything at this price.」
