「We really enjoyed our stay. It was refreshing staying in an independently run hotel as we often stay at chain hotels. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. The pool and spa facilities were a really nice feature. The only niggle was that there was no air conditioning in the room. 「I was able to experience staying in a typical Victorian house. The owner made sure I had all I needed; he was prompt, cheerful, and polite. Groceries, fine dining, take-out, etc. are all nearby. I especially liked the charity shops where I was able to buy old books.」

「I booked a short break so i could include celebrating my birthday. I was lucky that the room i booked had a balcony. I booked an afternoon tea for my birthday which was fab. The meals in the restaurant i can't fault. I managed to book a back, neck and shoulder massage. 」
