「We had an amazing 2 night stay at Ivory Sands. The room and pool were beautiful and very clean. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and beach front bars and restaurants. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!」

「Stayed here for my husband and I’s babymoon!! It was a really nice place!! It was perfect for us to stay somewhere that was walking distance to the beach! The room was amazing and nice and new!! Big king sized bed, everything super clean, staff was very friendly and they gave us complimentary snacks and drinks which was an added plus!! Definitely would stay again!!! 😁」

「I like the basket of bread, apple and juice they put outside your door in the morning. You can take it to one of the places they have around the site and enjoy your quiet morning.」

「No hot water no matter what time of the day, construction going on in the room right next to us (my 6m old was sleeping and was awaken by it for days in a row), breakfast was meh, the mini fridge door was barely holding on and keeping things cold, thermostat kept going back to heat, toilet has low water pressure which was concerning how high up we were (10th floor). 」

「Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Opal Sol. So much so that we’re already planning a trip back! Cleanly, modern, comfortable. Staff are all really nice and go out of your way to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms are spacious and well designed. Food and bar by the pool is great. Love the access to sister property opal sands. It’s just a bridge walk away. I also like the market for quick coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I am already missing the property. 「Quaint but well cared for smaller hotel. We enjoyed our 5 night stay. I would get a balcony if I went back. Good location very close to restaurants and the beach. 」

「Couldn’t ask for a better view. We had room service breakfast on the balcony and it was lovely. Room was very modern, clean, and beachy. Fit 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably. Walk to the beach was steps. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. 4 stars for the staff overall- only because the restaurant made an error with our dinner reservation and I didn’t feel it was remedied. 」

「Smaller but nice hotel, room was pleasant and clean and beds comfy, staff helpful. Restaurant good and not too pricy. Pool and private beach were nice, though the beach furniture for rent filled up 90% of the beach. Our only disappointment was the location. My husband does not walk well, so I chose this hotel as being right on the beach; but it is on a bay without a good view of the main body of the gulf, and the surf is very tame. I liked the large public beach better but it was 15 minute walk...

「The staff was nice and helpful. Unfortunately the live music in the bar next door kept us up until well passed midnight. The juke box plays really loud too, so even when it does cal down you still hear music. Tried calling the front desk but hotel room phone was not working. Some staff was puzzled by our complaint while others acknowledged the problem as a usual occurrence. Would recommend not staying on the beach side, if you do stay here. Be aware, parking is an additional 38$ a night....
