We arrived on Feb. 5th. It was right when the temperature started getting better but it was still 59° and windy when we arrived. The room that we got on Expedia was a disaster for a new couple starting out. The room was fine but it was a studio hotel room. There were no amenities at all. It was in a very shady part of the hotel and just didn't suit us at all. We went to the manager and told him our problem. We were very disappointed in the weather but there could be nothing done about that. They understood our plight. They offered us an upgrade which was fine but then we were told by the manager that there was one other room. It was across the street and there was a party going on there. It was an executive getaway. There were lots of old people but we are kind of old so it didn't matter. Heated pool sitting in the sun and the room had two large beds, a bathroom and a full kitchen. It was perfect. And there was no upgrade fee. What we did learn was then when you want a hotel room deal you should call the hotel yourself. Speak to Management. Tell them what you want and usually they will take care of you. The one thing we learned from this experience is not to go through an app. I don't think I'll be using Expedia very soon again. Our hotel stay at Devon shores was awesome. We had a great vacation. The weather turned our way a little bit but not a lot. On our last day is temperature creeped up to around 73°. It was okay though because the rest of our week was awesome.. Thanks

We just returned from an amazing family vacation at Devon Shores in Clearwater Beach with our two teenagers (a family of 4 total), and it exceeded every expectation! This is a gorgeous boutique hotel, completely remodeled and updated in recent years—everything feels brand new, spotless, and modern. The location couldn’t be better: just one short block from the main beach, so we were on the sand in under two minutes. No long walks with tired teens! We stayed in one of the family suites (perfect for 4 with two queen beds), which was spacious and comfortable for all of us. The fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer—great oven, large fridge, and everything needed to cook. On the nights we were too exhausted from beach days to go out, we made easy, delicious meals right in the room. It saved us time and money, and the kids loved having snacks whenever they wanted. The staff is outstanding—super helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. They made our family feel very welcome. The heated pools were a huge highlight! Even on the cooler days (a bit chilly for Florida), we could all enjoy warm, relaxing swims without any problem. The two pools are beautiful, never felt crowded, and were right outside our door—ideal for teens to hang out. In short: a charming, clean, modern boutique hotel with a prime location and thoughtful family-friendly details like the kitchen and pools. We loved it so much as a family—we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Clearwater Beac
