「What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. 「A lovely gem of a hotel, from a different era, but in a really good way. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, everything was spotless and looked loved. If you’re after a modern hotel, with all mod cons, then not here, but for charm, and just gentle loveliness, a great place. Minor gripes - bottle of water and shower gel / shampoo not replaced when empty. Shower one which was either boiling or ice cold on a millimetre turn.
