"I cannot say enough about how exceptional this hotel is. The room was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. The room temperature was perfect. The rooms, by the way, are absolutely beautiful. What stood out the most for me was the service at AWA. From the check in to the servers, the bartenders and housekeeping staff - all were exceptional. There was not a single person employed at the hotel that did not look like they truly wanted to be there. We ate breakfast at the hotel daily and it was amazing. We never had a problem getting a chair and the beach and the water was beautiful. The hotel is quiet. There was no noise to disrupt our sleep. There are always a few people that make your stay extra special: Miguel - lobby bartender - what a genuinely nice person! It was our pleasure to spend time with you. Always a smile and wonderful conversation. We hope to see you again! Ricardo - hotel manager - we actually discussed that we have never seen a more well run hotel. He strives to make every stay perfect for every guest- and for us it was. Thank you! Mimi - rooftop bartender - always made sure we had a drink in our hand and had a welcoming smile. "Everything about this hotel was amazing!! The rooms were lovely and clean. The property and grounds were beautiful and lush. Staff was excellent. The breakfast was excellent along with the dining staff. All of this, plus being located on a gorgeous beach—the best stretch of beach on the island. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Villas Paraiso. Topnotch throughout!! "

"We stayed here for a few nights at the start of our Holbox trip and it was by far the best location we stayed in. The hotel is brand new, it's nice and quiet, although centrally located with everything is walkable. The room was modern and clean and had a luxury feel. There were some comments in other reviews that the pool was too cold and more for decoration. We actually really enjoyed coming home to a cold pool after a day at the beach, it was an excellent way to cool off. I definitely recommend this hotel. Although the restaurant is not yet open. When we come back to Holbox, we will likely stay here the whole time. "

"Bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard and lumpy. More than one roll of toilet paper a day would have saved us from visting the front desk to get other rolls during our stay. Didn't like only having cold water to shower in. Pools would look more inviting if the bottoms were painted blue instead of the off-gray colour. Ladies on the front desk and the beach bar were pleasant and attentative. More sun shades over the beach lounges would be good and they would stop the birds from dropping their phoop on 'you' and the beach lounges. Breakfast was good; hot and a good selection of foods. Good central location to downtown and restaurants. "

"We were on the second floor and the room had an amazing ocean/beach view. We had the far left room facing the ocean. The bottom floor would not be to bad but you lose some privacy on your balcony during the day. The place was a small boutique hotel so it felt comfortable and never crowded. The staff was friendly and very attentive to its guest. The daily free breakfast had your choice of I believe 6-8 items, which included juice and coffee. Choices were a full normal style breakfast (eggs, meat choice, bread), several different omelets, or chilaquiles (which was the bomb) and you ate breakfast on the beach. Could not beat the location. Perfect walking distance to the town center and easily accessible to walking the coastline. "
