Breakfast was included which was a plus and was actually delicious. The hotel was nice and felt very boho vibes which was nice and the reason to stay at a place like this. Customer service was not so great beginning from the front desk to the restaurant and beach club staff. All workers did the bare minimum and not so friendly even after giving them a good tip. Any time I asked for anything additional like napkins, utensils, a refill, etc they acted bothered because I was asking them to do something extra other than delivering my food to my table. Not the hospitality I am used to when visiting beautiful Quintana Roo. Not sure I would stay here again. Bad customer service can really ruin the experience even when staying at a nice place.

We just spent 8 nights with our Family of 5 at Aldea Kuka and we so impressed! The details of the property, the rooms, the pool and lounge areas were pristine! Staff was amazing. Service on point. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Special rave to our favourite - Luis!! He is incredible and we wish him so much success!! The beach area in front of this resort is unbeatable - and by far the best stretch! Go visit this magical place!!

All excellent but the sound proving of rooms because of the fantastic wooden floor. If you re a couple or a family beware your neighbors will ear whatever you say and you do. Maybe a little more flexibility on delayed check out would be expected from an hotel of this standing ( just 30 minutes is too little). Said so it is a great hotel, staff is really nice rooms are fantastic ( I love the zapote wood floor).

Vor unserem Zimmer war eine Baustelle, die noch das ganze Jahr 2026 sein wird. Die Zimmer sind so hellhörig, dass man früh morgens vom Hämmern, Tackern und Fräsen geweckt wurde. Der Lärm geht den ganzen Tag, bis spät Abends. Unter der Zimmertüre war 5 Zentimeter Luft und unter dem Fenster 7 Zentimeter. Dadurch null Schallschutz und Isolierung. Bei starken Wind wehen die Vorhänge im Zimmer bei geschlossener Türe und Fenstern. Ein Ecohotel würde niemals die Energie der Klimaanlage ohne Isolierung ins Freie arbeiten lassen. Die Motortaxen in der Nacht sind sehr laut. Das laute Motorengeräusch lässt keinen Schlaf zu. Tagsüber Baustellenlärm und einen Strand der schwarz von Algen und Seegras stinkt und nachts Lärm von der befahrenen Straße. Keine Chance auf Erholung. Wir haben die Probleme täglich mit der Hotelleitung kommuniziert, leider ohne Erfolg. Bei Anreise waren die Fenster komplett schmutzig, ohne dass es vorher geregnet hatte. Sie wurden erst nach Aufforderung und nach zwei Tagen geputzt. Im Blumekohl, beim Dinner waren 7 Stück Holzkohle in der Sauce. In der Dusche war starker Schimmel

Do not listen to the negative reviews! I was a little worried before arrival, but after 6 nights I can assure you this is one of the best, if not THE Best on Isla Holbox. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. I received a text on the 3rd day explaining to me that they could not service our room because we had cash/valuables laying out in our room. The food and service was outstanding, and we were so well cared for by Louis and Javier. Yes, the rooms were a little noisy due to the wood floors and beautiful construction, but earplugs made sleeping easy and I didn’t mind hearing a small amount of noise in the room above us. The beach area and day beds were fantastic and always available. The short 10-15 minute walk into town meant you could go into town for meals and excitement and noise, and then return to this quiet slice of heaven. The beach on this side of town (toward Punta Mosquito) was a picture postcard and far superior to the beach on the other side of town (toward Punta Coco). Book it, and like us, you’ll be glad you did!

Overall we were very impressed with all aspects. Housekeeping, front desk, restaurant staff were all excellent and very kind and helpful. Very well maintained and very clean.
