This was our second visit to My Blue. Great and friendly staff. TV was broken but they replaced it in 5 minutes. Breakfast could have more variety day to day but still good options for an included service. We will definitely be back again.

This hotel is modern, very clean, and well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was beautiful and very comfortable. We paid extra for an ocean view, but unfortunately large trees blocked most of the view. The restaurant was fine, and the complimentary breakfast was good but fairly basic (eggs, chilaquiles, fruit, vegetables, bread, pastries, and ham and cheese for paninis). The beach was absolutely amazing and just steps from the hotel, and the pools were nice and never crowded—though a bit cold. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of downtown, where you’ll find great food and lively bars.

The staff were all amazing! Julieta went above and beyond, even before our arrival, to help us book transportation to the island, golf carts, and dinner reservations for Christmas. And although she was off site, continued to check in throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. The staff at the front desk were exceptional also. And the staff at the restaurant all worked very (very) hard to make sure that the breakfast buffet was always fresh and continuously replenished. They were a great team with a great leader who worked equally as hard! The rooms were very clean and each day they gave us a couple bottles of water. Everyday they raked the beach, swept by the pool, and mopped the sidewalk tiles. Prior to our arrival I read some really alarming reviews that made me doubt our choice of hotels. Unsure if some of these are meant for their other resort, The Blue, which is close-by? So although I often think that nothing is perfect, our stay at My Blue came really close!

I’m not sure we have stayed at a cleaner resort. Even the bathrooms by the pool always felt like they had just been cleaned. The staff were friendly and attentive and the beach was much cleaner and well kept than those adjacent to us.

We have stayed here before, the rooms are lovely, a great beach and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The one complaint is that the main pool was out of action for the whole week of our stay. It was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel a second time. There was no offer of recompense for the inconvenience.

We really enjoyed our stay at My Blue Hotel. We liked the fact it was not in the main town being in a quiet area on the beach. The 15 minute walk to the main town area was good exercise. The rooms were perfect and the hotel provided everything we needed. The staff were excellent and never stopped working to keep everything spotless. The breakfast was substantial but if you arrived late in the breakfast session the hot food was starting to go cold as the spirit burners underneath had gone out, the breakfast team needs to re-light these as and when they fail.

Over priced

It is a new hotel, but I believe it is over priced for what they offer. It is a comfortable hotel in front of the beach, but breakfast is simple. It is not so close to downtown. I was there with my parents and going for a dinner in downtown, for instance, was generally not a good deal. Moreover, the plugs in room were not good what created some difficulties to recharge our devices.

The staff was very good to deal with. Pride in the property was evident, from workers tending to the property, the senior level employee or boss asisting with beach clean up in the morning. The location is centrally located between town and mosquito beach. The afternoon cocktails were excellent. The pina coladas might be the best we have had. The appetizers were delicious and would recommend (tuna, ceviche, fish croquets). If I were to offer one suggestion it would be for the use of the falcon birds used in Cancun to deal with the sea gulls. The sea gulls were persistent every morning.
