"I enjoyed my recent stay at the Chancellor Hotel on Union Square. The hotel was a reasonable price and had everything I could wish for - especially wonderful staff and a clean and secure environment. I felt very well looked after from the moment that I checked in. The parking was convenient and the rate was competitive for the area. I love the location and the historic San Francisco flavor of both the neighborhood and the property itself. The hotel does not offer air conditioning, but the room I had was well-ventilated and equipped with a quiet, but efficient, ceiling fan. San Francisco is famously cool at night most of the year anyway. I look forward to staying at the Chancellor again and recommend it highly."
"everyone in housekeeping friendly as well as the front desk. The restaurant lacks of a friendly host. They did not allow me to ask for coffee at the bar nor wait inside for a table with my kids on a different day.
The hotel is beautiful and very well preserved"
"Super nice hotel in a really great area for sightseeing, walkable to the bay and a not bad bus ride to the Golden Gate Bridge and the painted ladies. Staff were friendly and helpful, pay for the breakfast it’s super good and nice to not have to walk around in the morning to find food."
