「The management team is very friendly and helpful but security sense is not sufficient as the cleaning lady forgot to close the windows. If you do not request too high standard of room service, it would be a good choice.」

「I did not have time to swim as I was attending a two days Conference. The room I was staying in looked tired and requires an upgrade but before leaving Donna was kind enough to show me other rooms including the 3 rooms in the Manor House. I liked the executive suites and that will be my choice at my next visit. All the staff were professional and pulled out all the stops to make my stay comfortable. Dr JJN Masani」

「Lovely pub/restaurant/hotel, which has successfully blended the old with the new. Staff service excellent. Food tasty and well presented. Dog friendly. Nearby footpaths and country parks close by and immediate area is nice to explore. One small negative - stable room bathroom needs a bit of a refresh.」

「A lovely quirky hotel close to Hertfordshire University. Many food places close by however, the onsite restaurant was delicious and the staff friendly, polite and welcoming. The rooms were generous sized and well equipped for our stay. We would definitely return. 」
