「This was such a beautiful place to stay! The staff are incredibly responsive and gave us great suggestions on where to hike and great places to eat. The property is absolutely gorgeous with a river running behind it. There are several places to sit outdoors and enjoy the views. We also made good use of the outdoor fire pits overlooking the river. 「I was in unit two, very clean with a nice balcony. The only downfall was there is no sink in the bathroom or a place to put toiletries and there was not a chair in the room.. the first night I was there. The smoke alarm battery was going and maintenance. Repaired it right away very helpful and friendly staff.」

「Murphy Lodge is close to town, easy walk into downtown Estes. We sat by fire pit (gas) last night and that was very nice and they have seating by the creek too. Pool was nice, hot tub could use some 'jet' repairs, only 2 of 4 seats had more than half working jets. Continental breakfast, we did eat at, looked over and it was very basic, yogurt, plain bagels, some cereal. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff - (desk guy) was helpful with lists of restaurants and trails in the park.」

「It was a really nice place. In our case there was no one else there so we were able to hang out in the main downstairs area which was pretty nice.
