「We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. 「Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good. 」

「This is hands down a 5 star hotel. The hotel is on an amazing property with an amazing view from the rooms. The rooms have a heated hot tub on the patio and the vibe is very nice. The pools are heated, so you can enjoy at any time. The food at the restaurant was solid , and the staff makes up for the rest since everyone is very nice.
