"The staff were very friendly and helpful except for one young lady who wouldn't get up to open the pool gate . Clean nice and newly rehabbed room excellent for electric. No ports for electronics. The woman who cleaned my room was fantastic. The small free breakfast will get you on your way,but you'll have to stop for breakfast later. Plenty of parking and near everything. Price was on the money and big fun pool when you can get in. Surely at 3 you should be able to since sign days 8 pm. Good for a layover stay no frills."

Aztec Ocean Resort

"The hotel has been there for a long time, the common areas and hallways show that, but the room was updated and clean. We chose a pool view balcony room for our stay, we could see the amusement rides and all the way to the ocean. The beds and pillows are probably ready for an upgrade to match the room. Overall our stay was fine. This is a great property, hopefully in the future it will redone overall. Other pros: right on the boardwalk and convenient parking."

"All staff from start to finish were very pleasant and helpful. Was there after Labor day so, pools, boardwalk, breakfast nook was all closed however, still was plenty to do and the restaurant "Trade winds" on site was awesome."

Holiday Inn Express Hotel of Neptune by IHG

"Everything was great, starting at the friendly staff at check-in, super clean rooms, and then a nice swim in their pool (yes, actually long enough to do laps). Breakfast was decent, but would have loved cooked oatmeal (instead of instant packets), since there were such great toppings. Overall a great stay!"

"Came here as a solo traveler for a few days. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to eat. The breakfast provided each morning was delicious with a good selection for a small business. This place is within easy walking distance of the beach, boardwalk, and shops in Ashbury Park. I highly recommend!"

"Great place for an overnight stay! Very clean and room was in pretty good condition. Ice Machine was “Out of Order”. Bathroom was really, really small."
